Dr. Hollander is currently an Associate Professor & Graduate Director in the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies at Florida International University in Miami. She is the author of "Raising Cane in the 'Glades: The Global Sugar Trade and the Transformation of Florida", "Securing Sugar: National Security Discourse and the Establishment of Florida's Sugar-producing Region," in Economic Geography, and "Agricultural Trade Liberalization, Multifunctionality, and Sugar in the South Florida Landscape" in Geoforum.
